A holiday in France – With Piccytures!

Yes! I have spent the past two weeks in a caravan in France. We took a newish digital camera, which took loads o photos, and even more importantly I uploaded them to my Gallery space.

M/V Barfleur

Thats a picture of the ship, in case you couldn’t tell. Notice how the company logo is an Aquafresh rip-off!

Blog Post? Of course it is.

EXAMS

have started. Argh. So far Iv’e had an English one and a Business Studies one. I have lots more to do next week, and one in the week after next. Then it is to France on Holeedays. woo. I have also decided (or been asked to by Mr Payne) to push back my driving test a few weeks, as the first time around I forgot to tell him about the holiday, so he assumed we would have five lessons to polish off and prepare. But since two of those lessons have disappeared into France, I am to push back two weeks. Yikes.

I’ve also gotten into Empire Earth. I went to town today after the exam. (Town is basically in the middle of town), and had a £5 one me when I saw it, it was only £4.99. I took it home and played it, and basically, its like Age of Empires, except it spans from Prehistoric times to into the future. Its basically a 3d AoE clone up to the Industrial Age.

‘lo thar

Yes. Not much is happening. Except its the Easter Holidays! Two weeks of, well, complete nothing! I have at least one History essay to be delivered to my History teacher, a Mr Bill Cliftlands(He’s in books!).

I have also come into possession of all six Star Wars movies. I have watched them all in order, and it makes a lot more sense. Even with wacked out CGI characters. I then went to watch the commentary on these DVDs. (all legal). I have nothing else to do! This spurred me into playing through the Star Wars : Empire at War campaigns, and buying Star Wars : Galactic Battlegrounds off of ebay. woot.
I have finally found some inspiration for what the building for the Glass Station will look like. Modern and cool, hangar style. Oh yes.

Random Thingamajigs

So. Its almost been a month since my last post, and the snow, and the Xfire craziness. It is now a whole new month, and April Fools has come and gone, with no mad “I saw Jesus in my toast” or “Michael Jackson appeared in my fogged up window” blog posts for the day of fools.

On the non-hallucinatory side of life, I went to the Trafford centre with the college. Not exactly an educational day out, but nonetheless, i bought the Star Wars trilogy (the original movies), and the game, Rise of Nations. Not only this, but I also recieved a few random games in the last month, as well as The Life of Brian on DVD.

Tomorrow is my theory test for driving. Thats right. In the UK, as soon as you turn 17, you can drive anywhere (except motorways) as long as you have another qualified driver in the car. I must pass my theory test before taking my practical, of which Mr Payne, my friendly driving instructor, will submit me when I am good enough. I can get from A to B through all sorts of traffic obstacles without dying or causing death, so i must be doing good. I can’t wait to drive. I have been a slave to the bus companies for too long! When I pass my test, I can go my own way, suckers!
